Division AA first place winner for four consecutive years in Sweet Adelines International regional competition, the 70-member Agoura Hills Harmony Chorus is part of a non-profit worldwide organization of women singers committed to advancing the musical art form of barbershop harmony through performance and education. Sweet Adelines International was founded in 1945.

Barbershop singing is one of only 4 truly American musical art forms, the others being Dixieland jazz, the spiritual and the cowboy song.

Sung without accompaniment, barbershop style singing is a unique blend of harmonies requiring good music arrangement and vocal technique, well-balanced, blended voices and accuracy of intonation. These qualities can create audible overtones that send a chill up the spine of singers and listeners alike.

The Agoura Hills Harmony Chorus is comprised of team-spirited, goal-oriented women of all ages and backgrounds from throughout the Conejo and San Fernando Valleys. Women who like to sing are invited to call 805-531-3714 for more information on becoming a member of the Agoura Hills Harmony Chorus.
